
Why Level Design?
Level design allows me to guide players through a space and create meaningful experiences through gameplay, pacing, and worldbuilding. I’ve always been fascinated by how great level design can make a world feel alive and many of the games I grew up with had incredible designs that inspired me to pursue this field of work.
My name is Jamie, a Level Designer based in The Netherlands, with 5 years of hands-on experience in several engines like Unreal designing games & levels. I have a strong passion for crafting levels that create strong player experiences.
I’m always eager to learn new tools and explore ways to expand my current skillset. Whether it’s improving my blockout sketching techniques or finding better ways to collaborate within a team, I enjoy challenging myself to grow as a designer with every project.

When I’m not designing levels, I enjoy spending time swimming. I’ve always been fascinated by the ocean and everything connected to it, which inspired me to get my Open Water diving certification. Whenever I get the chance, I love exploring the underwater world and discovering new places to dive.
